When my daughter was born 14 months ago, I wanted to capture all of her developmental changes. But as I schleped off to work, I realized it was going to be difficult to find time to create that glorious scrapbook most mommies dream of passing down to their kids. So I created a Gmail account for my baby daughter and began writing her little notes of her daily, weekly and monthly milestones. It's a way to capture what she's doing, with a date and time stamp - an electronic scrapbook. I bragged about this idea to my friends having babies and they created accounts for their little ones. My daughter will have this Gmail address her whole life and I hope that she charishes the notes from her Mom, Dad and anyone else inclined to write to her.
