Gmail: In Your Words

When I was home in Wyoming last year looking after my mother, who was in hospice dying of cancer, email was so important for keeping in touch with my friends and family in Ireland. Everyday I checked my email on the hospice computer...My son had switched to Gmail after college and suggested that I do the same. It became a lifeline when my mother was ill. Now that I am back in Ireland I love being online and having a Gmail chat, which is saveable, with my son in Minnesota. I love the way the chat window just pops up in orange and he says "hey". I love the endless memory and I LOVE the commitment to eliminating spam.
