Gmail: Google's approach to email

Gmail: In Your Words

When I first got Gmail, it seemed like any other email program; it receives emails and it sends them. But once I started telling my friends about my new email address and the mail started to flood in, I realized I could keep up with the email so much faster using Gmail. Some more of my friends got Gmail accounts, and we started long heated debates over politics, religion, and life ethics. We extended the conversations to our friends using other services, but they were always six or eight emails behind us. They just couldn't keep up.
