My Gmail story is great because it is far more reaching than what I can describe to you in the here and now; I am writing a book about it. Really and truly! ...What I have done to trick myself into writing this book was incorporating Gmail. I set up a seperate Gmail account from my personal one and have been sending myself one chapter of my story at a time. The bonus of emailing yourself over just typing your work, is that it's timestamped and saved in cyberspace. Plus, you can trust Gmail to keep it safely until you are ready to visit it again. That's something a hard drive or manila folder can't always promise! I'm elbow deep into something I thought I would never be able to do - write a book! When this gets off the ground, I'm thanking Gmail in the opening page!
