I was referred to Gmail by a friend, a programmer, who had an account and really loved it... Since then I have become addicted. Mostly because I love the tabbed email system, as well as the ability to pop-out an email so I can jump between email messages and copy/paste between them. Other online email systems do not have this ability! The kicker is that you got me employed. If it was not for the great ability to search through all my email fast (while on the phone with someone waiting) I would not have the job I have today.
