I was lucky enough to marry my wonderful boyfriend of 5.5 years on May 19, 2007. On August 18, 2007, he deployed to Iraq for his first tour of duty since becoming an officer in the United States Army. Gmail and Gmail chat have been lifesavers for our relationship. I am still in college (graduating in May '08!) and since I am on campus I am constantly on Gmail. Shortly after deploying my husband got his own Gmail account specifically to talk to me on Gmail chat (with nothing to download and no extra windows, it has been super easy for him to use Gmail chat with the limited Army internet service in Iraq). I also am the only one with his Gmail address, so I can have an inbox all to myself! Thanks Gmail, for keeping us connected!
