I have been using Gmail since January 2005, and its services have allowed me to maintain some semblance of order in my crazy college life. I love how I am able to manage three email accounts from my main Gmail account through the use of POP3. This is so useful since I can stay up to date on developments with my personal life, my internship, Student Government, and my university email account all at once. The enormous storage space also allows me to save everything so I can find old papers or photos or whatever. Gmail Chat is also critical to my ability to stay in touch with friends and family - since I live in Rome but am from Kansas City, the time difference can usually create some problems. I am especially happy that Gmail Chat is now integrated with AIM. As I work on a variety of computers, some of which do not even have Flash and cannot download AIM software. So, being able to use Gmail as a platform for all my messaging and email needs is immensely helpful.
