I am constantly overwhelmed by the amount of STUFF I have to keep track of, and Gmail has helped so much with that. Last year my son forwarded me an important official email and then yesterday, when he needed it, he couldn't find it. I did a quick search on MY email, and there it was. Likewise when someone claimed my husband had made a statement (untrue!) I just clicked a few times on my mouse, and there was his letter in its entirety.
