Gmail has become part of my daily life. Not a day goes by that I do not check my mail and I never fear losing my important mail. Since the day I started using Gmail, I have not thought about Gmail. This is in fact good. This is what I would expect from a mail application. I can concentrate on using Gmail, rather than thinking about safety, reliability and robustness of my mail application. Has Gmail changed the way I send mail? Yes! but more importantly, what it did do for me is that after a long time I found a mail application that is simple and pratically invisble. When I open my inbox, I see my mail, not ads, no flashing irritating bold big font keyword ads. This is how Gmail has changed my way of mailing. No funny incident, no interesting story, nothing fancy. Plain and simple...
