Gmail: In Your Words

As a training consultant, I need to be sure my materials and presentations are available, even if equipment goes south - so I upload copies of presentations, handouts, etc. as attachments. Also, as a very frequent traveler, I have uploaded copies of my passport pages, airline e-tickets, bookings, itineraries and other information I need to have available. Travelers are advised to carry a copy of passport data and visa pages - even if the worst happens (like an Antarctic cruise ship sinking and having to bail with only your all-weather gear,) I can always download copies of these vital documents anywhere in the world with Internet access! Of course, keeping in touch with others while I am on the road - and if I need to access websites I am concerned about accessing on Internet cafe computers and the like, I have the user and passwords hidden in character strings I can copy and paste into the website logon page; this avoid possible keystroke logging malware. My life can be less complicated and more secure - "no worries, I have backups available on Gmail."
