After I got a Gmail account I decided to set up an account for my new-born son. I have been sending him emails telling him things like, if has reached a milestone (eating solids, walking etc.) or just things like today we went to the zoo, or sending him photos - basically keeping an online journal. When he grows up I will hand him his email account and he can go back and see all these emails. I have done the same for my 2nd son.
