Gmail: Google's approach to email

Gmail: In Your Words

When I was a kid, there was no Gmail. I grew up creating tons of email accounts on different sites, just to make sure I get all my messages (yes, I used to love forwards back then). There were flash ads, there was irritating eye-catching animation, there was a plethora of useless junk (SPAM) with important emails hidden between them...not to forget those ".exe" files having viruses which were not detected. Then "Do No Evil" comes up with something unique, simple and ground-breaking. Just like the Google homepage, Gmail was sleek, clean, uncluttered and it did what you wanted it to do, no non-sense. I have been using Gmail for the last 3 years, and I simply have not found anything that is more useful for me when I am on the net. Whenever I log into Gmail, I always remember one line I read somewhere - "Email, Meet Gmail".
