What I never really imagined that I would come to truly appreciate about Gmail is the archive it keeps of all your conversations. Our daughter was born July 18th of this year. I loved discussing the ins and outs of her development, my concerns, all the details of caring for her while my husband was away at work. September 8th, she stopped breathing and her heart stopped. She was resuscitated and life flighted to the hospital, but still died a week later. Gmail was my source of keeping in contact with friends and loved ones with updates through the week. It was my way of asking for prayers and their way of letting us know they were offering them. And now, Gmail is a sort of life history for our little daughter. I can easily search the chat history and past emails, and easily see the story of her precious life written in the day to day moments we shared. Thank you for this gift.
