As a graduate student, I no longer need to carry floppy disks or flash drives -- I email my research material to myself. The growing storage makes it possible to send as many files as possible. Gmail also makes it possible to send my homework to myself and print it on campus before class --I love it. For the Arts and Culture section of the Cleveland State University Vindicator Magazine, I use Gmail to send my content list to my Art Director and the entire editorial staff has Gmail accounts. I send huge files, which makes our job so much easier. Being able to chat and see my colleagues on-line is a wonderful feature as is the ability to label my email by category. I can chat with colleagues before leaving for campus because I can see them online. Google products have changed the way I do research and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Gmail is one of the most important products I've used since going on line in 1988.
