Gmail: Google's approach to email

Gmail: In Your Words

I used to live in Eureka, California where my brother and I were probably two of the first people to get Gmail...My best friend Justin Roller and I started exchanging emails and then we were virtually (both computer-wise and "being actually such in almost every respect") inseparable. One day my house got robbed and from there on my life in Eureka started to spiral, which ultimately led to my family moving to Portland, OR. when I moved Justin and I created huge conversations that lasted for months and we often talked for hours. Although Gmail made it close, emailing wasn't the same as hanging out, so we needed something that we could do over a long distance/ time period that only we did. So we made "Google Earth I Spy". We took a screen shot of some random place in the world (cutting out the lat/long) and every day using Gmail we would give one clue about this place, ex: "Russia, north, lake, _____ was mayor in 1865..." until we finally found the place we were looking for. It's been a few years since I moved but we still play "I Spy".
