I left my previous webmail and switched to Gmail yesterday; best thing I ever did. There were too many adverts and annoying blurbs in my old email and it was very slow with a poor UI. Gmail migration was uber-quick, and its highly customizable and can interface with a variety of different technologies for free. Pre-caching emails on main page for later viewing in particular is a simple but excellent time saving feature. I moved specifically because I use Google products for e-commerce and married with Google Mail I can now login once and then buy with Google checkout in a few clicks. Google presently offers the best available e-commerce architecture out there.
