I am a police officer and in the increasingly digital world, I use digital documents in my work all the time. Ever since I began using Gmail, I can save every single document I create in my email which has the added benefit of being search-able. Why is that important? I go to court on cases that I have worked on sometimes six, even eight months later and when documents get lost (like they did just recently), I can pull up what I have saved and reference it for court. That sounds small, but if you were a victim and it was your court case, it would seem a lot more important! Gmail keeps me organized and allows me to be a better officer.
