Gmail keeps me in touch with all my family no matter where they are. My son was traveling in Europe this summer and it was so cool because I went online and there he was in the chat box, so I could talk to him in Prague. I love it! My sister is in Florida, and we also use Gmail...It makes the world come right into my house and lets me keep in touch with everyone I love.
