Gmail has sure changed my life. Before I was be hindered by separate email addresses for university and personal, and the lack of space the competition offered. When I got Gmail it all changed. As soon as I found out my university allowed forwarding of their emails to another email address, I redirected to Gmail, and put a label on those incoming mail. Thanks to Gmail's sophisticated search algorithm, finding old uni emails is a breeze. No need to ask friends about mass mailed messages, no need to access the uni email account physically and search through pages of emails, it's all there in Gmail ready to be accessed at any time. It has also made me a better organized person.
