Because of Gmail, my 8 hours a day at work isn't so horrid. Have you ever hated a job so much and just watched the clock until your next break? That's me. But now with Gmail, in between service calls I am able to chat with my other friends. The best part about Gmail chat is that you don't have to download it. And since it's frowned upon to download chat programs onto your work computer, I feel like I'm sliding in under the radar. It's great! So on my breaks I can talk to people friends outside of work. Gmail is a breath of fresh air in my stale day.
